New Victims Commissioner comes to North Belfast

Ashton Community Trust Chief Executive Paul Roberts and Head of Victims & Mental Health Services Irene Sherry met with Judith Thompson, the new Victims Commissioner this week. Judith came into the post at the beginning of September and came to the New Lodge area of North Belfast to see the work that Bridge of Hope do in supporting victims and survivors at first hand. “We were delighted to meet with the new Commissioner to discuss conflict related issues affecting local people and to discuss how we can do more to meet the needs of victims and survivors. It was a very productive meeting,” Irene Sherry said.
